The big-hearted Blues defender marked his 28th birthday on Wednesday thanking medics at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital for their work in fighting Covid-19. FIRE crews were battling a huge blaze at a block of flats in a Fife town last night. Mercy crews were called to Francis Street in Lochgelly after the alarm was raised around 7pm. Dramatic images from the scene show the top of the four-storey building engulfed in flames. Residents were urged to keep their windows and doors closed as the blaze rages on and some were evacuated. Thick plumes of smoke can be seen billowing into the sky as crews work to extinguish the inferno.
