THE great British weather struck again at Windsor as racing was delayed after a thunderstorm created havoc. It was bright sunshine as the runners headed to the start for the first race of the evening. But as the runners started to load the gate, the course was plunged into darkness. When the stalls opened, torrential rain began to fall and runners were barely visible as they charged towards home. The rain was so heavy that the course looked to be covered by fog as Therehegoes and Level Up battled it out.
